Terms, Policies and Conditions
Credit Cards: We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order. We will also accept money orders in U.S. Dollars only. We do not accept checks.
Shipping Charges: Our products are varied in size and weight. We will estimate a shipping charge as close to the actual shipping charge as possible. The minimum charge is $8.00. We will make every effort to pack your item safely and ship it the most economical way. We use the US Postal Service-Priority Mail-Insured; UPS and Fedex. Your purchase will always be insured against loss or damage. In case of damage, retain the original packaging material and contact us immediately upon receipt if anything is broken or missing.
Delivery: Our items are handcrafted by artists and craftsmen, so delivery times vary. Items in stock can ship immediately. Items that must be ordered can take from 2-8 weeks to receive. Delivery estimates will be confirmed with your order and you will be notified of delays.
Returns: We believe handcrafts must be touched and explored to be truly appreciated. Our artists stand behind the quality of their work. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and will allow returns within 30 days of purchase. Please follow these steps:
1. You must call in advance to arrange return of an item. Damage must be reported to us immediately by phone.
2. The items must be returned in its original condition within 30 days of purchase.
3. Package the merchandise in the same way it came to you, in the same packaging, if possible.
4. Include your name, address, phone number and a copy of your receipt inside the package.
5. Send via US Postal Service Priority Mail Insured to:
Tar Heel Trading Company, PO Box 1036, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948.
Please contact us to ship via another carrier. Customer pays return shipping and insurance.
6. We will issue a credit to your credit card or send a refund upon receipt & inspection of returned merchandise.
